First, it comes with its own applicator. A slim chrome tip clicks onto the tube, and the cream comes out through it, so your fingers never go near the cream. The moment the tip touches your skin it switches on by itself, with no buttons: gentle EMS micro-pulses, 70 a second, and a ring of red LED light, while you glide it along your under-eye for two minutes. The head is tiny on purpose, shaped for the narrow, thin skin around the eye. 1. Take the cap off the tube. Open the applicator's protective cap and click the applicator onto the tube.
2. Squeeze the tube gently until a rice-grain amount of cream comes out of the tip, enough for one eye.
3. Touch the tip to your skin: it switches on by itself. Glide it slowly and lightly from the inner corner of the eye outwards, then up around the outer corner and along the brow bone. Never press hard or drag. Repeat on the other eye. About 2 minutes in total.
4. Wipe the tip clean and put the protective cap back on. Store away from direct sun and humidity.
5. Use the cream morning and night. Use the applicator once a day, ideally at night. In the morning, tap the cream in with your ring finger and follow with sunscreen.

Pro Tip: Take it slightly higher than you think: up onto the brow bone and out towards the temple. Crow's feet fan outwards and upwards, and most people stop about a centimetre short of where the lines actually are. UIQ also suggests gliding it upwards along smile lines, and sideways along neck lines.

First two weeks: if your skin feels sensitive, use the applicator every other day for the first two weeks while your skin gets used to it, then daily. Stop if discomfort continues.
